Shipping & Returns

We use Fedex for all of our shipping needs. Orders placed for Fedex ground shipping Thursday through Sunday are shipped on the following Monday. All orders that take greater than 3 days to arrive Fedex ground will ship the following Monday after the order is placed unless otherwise requested. Shipping charges are based on delivery area and package size. All out of state shipments avoid California sales tax.

Some states do not allow the direct shipment of wine. Please consult your local Alcohol Beverage Control board regarding your local and state laws. The Vintage Shoppe makes no claims or representations concerning the laws in other states regarding shipping or importation of wines and all buyers assume all risk with regards to this service. All wines are sold in California and title passes to you in California.

The buyer is responsible for the shipping charges on any returned merchandise.

Shipping Insurance:

Shipping insurance is only included up to $100 of the value of the shipment. If you would like to request additional insurance for your order, please do so in the "Comments" section on the shopping cart page. It is an additional $1.00 per $100 in value. Your order will be modified accordingly.

Extreme Weather:

The Vintage Shoppe will not be held responsible for any damages to wines incurred during extreme weather. Weather damage is not covered by insurance. Shipping is at your own risk. Shipping Holds may be requested during these periods of time. If you do not request a hold, your order will ship on the next available ship date. Please check your local weather before placing your order.

Shipping Holds:

We request that all shipping holds do not exceed 30 days from the date of purchase. Any order requesting a shipping hold longer than thirty days may not be honored. During the summer or winter months we can obtain climate controlled storage for a nominal fee depending on the size of the order. Any questions regarding this service may be discussed directly with a sales representative of the store. If you would like to request this service please include it in the "comments" part of your online order.

Merchandise Return:

We stand behind the quality of each and every product we sell. If for any reason you are displeased with your purchase, simply return the bottle within 30 days of purchase with receipt and we will gladly replace, exchange or offer store-credit in return. The buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges for returned items and replacement shipments.
