The Vintage Shoppe hopes all wine lovers support Green Wine vintners who produce exceptional wines while preserving the environment. All of the wines listed in this category are from wineries that are committed to Earth-friendly practices of sustainable, organic and biodynamic farming. These pratices are a departure from conventional farming which depends on chemical pesticides and fertilizers that strip the Earth of its vitality and wildlife. Green Wine vintners substitute predatorial birds and insects for chemical pesticides, and various grazing herds, grass cover-crops and organic matter for chemical herbicides and fertilizers. This results in environmentally balanced, self-sustaining vineyards that are full of life and the grapes of the World's best wines.
